Appointment of new Chairman and new Members of the Board of Directors of herning shipping a.s.
The Board of Directors of herning shipping a.s. are pleased to inform the appointment of Steen Hove as Chairman of the Board of Directors as of 21 December 2009, succeeding Søren Thygesen who has been on the Board since 1997. The Board of Directors would like to thank Søren Thygesen for his contribution to herning shipping throughout the years.
Steen Hove, attorney-at-law, has a long term relationship with herning shipping. For a number of years Midtbank (now Handelsbanken) have been the primary bank of herning shipping, and as the former Managing Director of Midtbank, Steen Hove is not only familiar with the history of herning shipping but is also known to its shareholders.
Steen Hove holds board memberships in several Danish/local companies and, among others, serves as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Handelsbanken, Danmark.

Following attorney-at-law Alex Laudrup’s decision to retire from Gorrissen Federspiel by the end of 2009, he has now stepped down from the Board of Directors of herning shipping a.s. Herning shipping takes this opportunity to thank Alex Laudrup for his valuable and loyal contribution to the company during almost 30 years.
